Aurélie Charneux
was 8 years old when she started to play the clarinet before studying at the Royal Conservatories of Mons and Liège, where she got, among other titles in the Superior Degree for Clarinet and Chamber Music. She was taught by Garrett List and Michel Massot for improvised musics. She has performed in the classical field with following orchestras : "Nouvelles musiques de chambre de Liège" , Opéra Royal de Wallonie aswell as the chamber music ensemble Aton. She has also performed with the Garrett List Ensemble and the sepharad music group Zohara. She is a founding member of Klezmic Zirkus and has been busy composing since many years for various settings (Klezmic Zirkus, Abysses Duo, Crac Boum street band and for Chloé Périlleux. As a sought-after studio musician, she has recorded many soundtracks . She took part in many cross-over shows such as L'opéra Pompier and is member of the Bambeen Grey Quartet which shall release his next recording in 2010.
Julien de Borman
was 7 years old when he started to play the guitar and the diatonic accordeon, colecting various experiences while playing on markets and on folk music bals. He was taught accordeon during 10 years by Françoise Ryeland, made some decisive musical encounters in Irland and visited workshops with Didier Laloy, Steve Houben or Max Marcilly (gipsy chromatic accordeon), he took part in various musical projects for grown up or child such as Lara Hubinon's « Les deux gredins » (2000), Yvette Berger's « Couleurs », Raphy Raphaël, Camaxe, les trois p'tits qu'on l'son, « le Mariage de Figaro » at the Théâtre des martyrs, le « Hanokh's cabaret » on backstage, « Holly » at the Théâtre Isocéle, « Lilli et les escargots », « le grand carton » and « en concert » - a play for children by Les Déménageurs or « Banquise » at the théâtre Maât. Julien plays and composes for Turdus Philomelos, subs for Didier Laloy with the galician singers de Ialma.
Adrien Lambinet
is a prize winner from the Royal Conservatories of Mons and Liège. At an early stage he has shown an obvious connection to contemporary and improvised musics which eventually led to many collaborations with foolowing leading modern orchestras : Ensemble Musiques Nouvelles, Ensemble Ictus, Garrett List Ensemble, duo Abysses with clarinet player Aurélie Charneux. He also found himself a strong link to cross-over shows and premiered the trombone part of many plays mixing theatre and music such as :
Le saut de l'ange, a show for children premiered in 2006 at the Théâtre Mâât (before touring in Belgium, France, Portugal, Wales, Poland and Canada), St Kilda (Musiques Nouvelles), Armageddon (Art Zoyd-Musiques Nouvelles), Kasimir et Karoline (Théâtre National), L'Opéra-Pompier (Centre Culturel du Brabant Wallon), and - last but not least - Crac Boum Rue, mini street band for which he also composes.
In a recent past, he premiered Infundibulum, the last production of the Feria Musica company, mixing music and circus arts.
Pierre Greco
started on his own to play the guitar at the age of 15 and was 22 years old when he fell in love with the double-bass of a friend who was forced to sell it on the spot to him. He started to learn this instrument at the music academy before studying with André Klenes at the Jazz department of the Lemmens Instituut in Leuven. He took to classical music at the Royal Conservatory of Liège and very soon startet to get used to various styles : chanson française (Lena Mariel, Moladji, C.Renoy,...) jazz (G.Cozier & The Swallows, Stavroguine, trio 491, Mosa Jazz Quartet,...) and world music (Xaman-eK, Eko Latino, Klezmic Zirkus, Musica Dal Vivo,...)
Wouter Roggemans
Having spent a few yeras playing the flute, he was 18 years old when he took to percussions, which he studied at the Gretry Music Academy. He then studied at the Royal Conservatory of Liège where he worked with Michel Massot, Jean-Pierre Peuvion, Vincent Royer and Garett List. More recently, he took a deeper insight in music with Stefan Pougin and Bruno Castellucci. He plays in various ensembles such as : Klezmic Zirkus (klezmer, compositions) Luna Bong ( jazz quintet), Compass (fanfare batucada), Musica dal Vivo (italian traditional music), Novo Nova (film soundtrack, compositions), shantaram (east-european jazz quintet), Elephant leaf ( rock, pop, trip hop), Jazz sweet Jazz (swing quintet), Tommy Baron Jr. (alternative pop) Faits d'hiver (Jazz).
