Album : Songs from the river

Tom Theuns started out in the Antwerp rockscene, where he also graduated cum laude in the Jazzconservatory. He studied intensively the open tuning guitar in Brittany and went to India a couple of times to study Indian classical music with sitarplayer Batuk Nash Mishra.

He's the driving force behind the internationally acclaimed bands Ambrozijn and Aurélia but has, besides that, also cooperated with Think Of One, Urban Trad, Laïs, Vera Coomans, Nada, Olla Vogala, Soetkin Collier, Dakar-Bruxelles-Dakar, Living Roots .

Recently he's giving soloperformances following the release of his soloalbum « Songs from the river ».

Is regularly demanded for masterclasses in DADGAD guitar.

Together with violinist Aurélie Dorzée, he is also owner of the concert barge the « Aurelia Feria ».
