Didier LALOY
(born in 1974) - Diatonic AccordionStarted diatonic accordion at age 13 with Marianne Uylebroeck, attending numerous workshops with Bruno Le Tron, Marc Perrone and Jean-Pierre Yvert.
Founding member of the following groups: CARTE BLANCHE (folk, jazz, rock), PANTA RHEI (European traditional musics), GARAM MASALA (ethnic hybrid), TRIO TRAD (folk) et DUOTONIQUE (compositions inspired by traditional music).
Collaborations, past or current, with Michel Azaïs (French chanson), Sttella, Picallily (instrumental covers of French chanson), Tradison (traditional music pour enfants), Dounia, Laurence Bibot and Marka (comedy show 'A Nous Deux') Gwenaël Micaud, Raphy Raphaël (songs for children), Musique à 9 (Pirly Zurstrassen), Urban Trad, Jean-Christophe Renaud, the Luc Pilartz Ensemble (Walloon popular music), Wim Clays, Photis Ionatos (Greek music), Zahava Zeewald (Jewish music), Tref (accordion trio), Dany Bayer, Marc and Tania Malempre (theatre creation 'Sac à Malice'), Philippe Vauchel (theatre creation 'Racines'), 'Les Jeunesses Musicales de Flandre' (concerts in Estonia and Sweden) and 'Les Jeunesses Musicales' (tours with various groups), the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (Concerts and animations for 'Live Music Now'), Ialma (Gallician singers) and Laïs.

february 2005, new CD/DVD "Didier LALOY Invite.s" a wonderful project , with 26 of the best musicians of world music in belgium, recorded in august 2004 at the "Festival d'Art de Huy"
In parallel with his concert activities, Didier Laloy gives workshops in Belgium (Borzée, Neufchâteau etc.), France, Switzerland and Germany, as well as teaching regular courses all year round.

Nombreuses créations : Messe imaginaire, requiem, Cantate de l'Enfer, d'après Dante Le Soleil et la Mort (création au Printemps classique de Welkenraedt en 1992), le Lion la Vierge et Michel-Ange.
